Rolex stainless steel Datejust ref 1601 with original “Rolex blue” dial Full Set. Featuring a 36mm diameter unmolested Oyster case serial 3.38x.xxx circa 1976 (as printed on warranty) with 14K WG fluted bezel, acrylic crystal and screw down Oyster crown. Original blue T SWISS T dial with applied silver indexes , with intact warmly patina’d tritium lume dots, and with original matching lume silver baton hands. The dial is in very good condition, and evidences only light erosion of the paint at the peak of the pie pan as commonly seen on vintage blue dials.
Powered by a self winding caliber 1570 chronometer rated movement with non quick set date and sweep seconds. With period Rolex stainless steel rolled link jubilee bracelet with deployment clasp. The watch comes with the rare shell fish outer box with the original 1601 sticker, inner leather box, Rolex handkerchief, pounced warranty and tags.Overall in preserved condition.
